Methodology
How estimates are produced
The calculator starts with a service range from the active catalog, then applies visible modifiers for area profile, job size, complexity, timing, access, and materials. The result is a preparation range, not a provider quote.
Current data status
The current catalog is sample data only. It exists to verify workflow behavior, exports, disclosures, and plugin integration. It must not be used as a public claim about actual local market prices.
Source standard before verified prices
- Every real price record needs a source name, collection date, country or region scope, and review status.
- Imported records remain unverified until reviewed against the source and marked with confidence metadata.
- Stale records must be labeled stale or excluded from public price claims.
What changes a final quote
Provider availability, minimum fees, permits, taxes, materials, site conditions, after-hours work, and inspection findings can all change the final price.
